MOBILE MINUTES

Meet Our New Hires Parker, Matt, Cierra, and Alma!

Jacob Mollohan, Senior Marketing Specialist

March 27, 2019

2019 has been an incredible year for us so far at Mobile Solutions. We’re on pace for a record-breaking fiscal year and we’re making exciting enhancements to MAX, our next-gen mobility management platform. And that means our family is growing as well.

Part of our award-winning culture is to celebrate the people who make Mobile Solutions what it is every day. So, we sat down with some of our new hires to discover a little more about them. Because at the end of the day, we’re a tech company, but we’re also a family.

Parker Griggs, Matt Duncan, Cierra Davis, Alma Hinojos

Parker Griggs, Sales Associate:

Are you a Colorado Native? If not, where are you from and how long have you been in Colorado?

Born and raised, nurtured and grown by black bears and lark buntings for my whole life… on the waiving plains of Aurora, Colorado.

What technology innovation made the most impact on your life?

Here’s the deal, I’m the last generation to remember a time before and after home internet access. I remember getting a computer for the first time. It’s hard for me to choose which technology innovation has made the largest impact on my life. LimeWire gave me a very comprehensive understanding of 1) being cool, and 2) how to absolutely destroy your computer.

But also, either WiFi because I can turn lights on and off in my house with it now #thefuture, or my phone, which is what I use to turn my lights on and off. (Just wait until I can turn my car on and off with my phone).

What is one of the things on your bucket list?

I want to go to Antarctica.

What is your spirit animal and why?

I’d probably say turtle. I used to have a reoccurring dream with a turtle named Walter who imparted tons of wisdom about life and history and just how big the world really can be. Haven’t seen him in a while though. I hope he’s doing alright.

Matt Duncan, Channel Manager:

Are you a Colorado Native? If not, where are you from and how long have you been in Colorado?

No, I’m from Indiana born and raised. I am a remote employee, so you will not see me as much around the office.

What technology innovation made the most impact on your life?

The mobile phone.

What is one of the things on your bucket list?

Play Pebble Beach with a few of my buddies.

What is your spirit animal and why?

Tough question, there are so many awesome animals to choose from. I would have to say the Sloth if I must pick just one. The saying goes slow and steady wins the race and these creatures are so slow that moss grows on them. I’ve never seen a sad or angry sloth which I guess summarizes their spirit. If you’re going to dominate life, steady persistence is where it’s at and it only gets better when you enjoy the entire process – said some sloth somewhere.

Cierra Davis, Service Desk Specialist:

Are you a Colorado Native? If not, where are you from and how long have you been in Colorado?

Yes, I am an “honorary” Colorado Native. I was born in Yuba City, California and moved to Colorado Springs when I was three.

What technology innovation made the most impact on your life?

I would have to be cliché and say smartphones. It has made life immensely easier to navigate everywhere, communicate with family and friends, and handle everything you need for your day to day, literally everything.

What is one of the things on your bucket list?

Compete in the Olympia and the Arnold.

What is your spirit animal and why?

I would have to say a cat because they are very self-aware, confident, and independent- but most importantly they like to chill.

Alma Hinojos, Service Desk Specialist:

Are you a Colorado Native? If not, where are you from and how long have you been in Colorado?

Yes, born and raised.

What technology innovation made the most impact on your life?

I would say having a cellphone overall has changed many things. The way I communicate over phone or even on social media now. We have internet and many other things available all in one small device. It is like having the world in the palm of our hands.

What is one of the things on your bucket list?

I would like to travel and meet new places around the world. Also, would like to go to Disneyland and have that fun and awesome experience with my daughter.

What is your spirit animal and why?

I would say a wolf. The power of the wolf brings forth instinct, intelligence, appetite for freedom, and awareness of the importance of social connections. When the wolf shows up in your life, pay attention to what your intuition is telling you.
